This funding supports projects that implement sexual risk avoidance education for youth ages 10-19, emphasizing voluntary abstinence from non-marital sexual activity. Projects must use medically accurate, evidence-based methods that promote personal responsibility, discourage risky behaviors like sexual coercion and substance use, and be culturally and age appropriate.
