This funding supports one cooperative agreement to operate the National Communication System, a toll-free, nationwide service offering information, referral, crisis intervention, and prevention education to vulnerable, at-risk, runaway, and homeless youth and their families. The program aims to prevent youth homelessness, reconnect youth with family or resources, and reduce runaway incidents through education and support services.
Eligible applicants include state, county, city, and special district governments; tribal governments and organizations; public housing authorities; nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status; and educational institutions. Individuals and foreign entities are not eligible. Priority given to applica
