The FY26 Breast Cancer Research Program Breakthrough Award Level 3 supports research projects with high potential to achieve breakthroughs and major impact in breast cancer. Projects must address at least one FY26 BCRP overarching challenge or justify exceptions. Small-scale clinical trials are allowed but not required. Research teams must include two or more breast cancer consumer advocates. The award allows a single PI or two partnering PIs with specific submission requirements to ensure comprehensive application review.
