The FY26 Breast Cancer Research Program Clinical Research Extension Award funds projects that extend data collection, follow-up, and analysis in breast cancer clinical studies. It aims to increase clinical impact by addressing early trial termination, limited follow-up, or suboptimal data issues. Applications must address FY26 BCRP challenges or justify exceptions. Teams must include two or more breast cancer consumer advocates. Single or partnering PIs are allowed, with specific submission requirements for partnering PIs.
Open to any type of entity with no explicit restrictions, subject to additional clarifications in eligibility text. Requires inclusion of two or more breast cancer consumer advocates in the research team.
