The FY26 Lung Cancer Research Program Idea Development Award supports conceptually innovative, high-risk/high-reward research that could lead to critical discoveries or major advancements in lung cancer. It promotes new ideas in early development stages with potential for impactful data and new research avenues. A New Investigator category allows early faculty to compete separately. Preliminary data are required but need not be lung cancer-specific.
Open to any type of entity with no stated restrictions. Includes a New Investigator category for early faculty appointments. Preliminary data required but not necessarily from lung cancer studies.
