Supports high-risk/high-reward research projects with potential for major impact in lupus research. Projects must align with FY26 Lupus Research Program Impact Award focus areas. Clinical trials are not permitted. Preliminary data is encouraged but not required. PI application limits apply across LRP award mechanisms.
Open to any type of entity without restrictions, subject to additional clarifications. An individual may only be PI on one application per LRP award mechanism, with a maximum of four applications total.
