The FY26 Spinal Cord Injury Research Program Investigator-Initiated Research Award supports studies that can significantly impact spinal cord injury research, patient care, and quality of life. It funds research across all phases from basic to translational science, discouraging projects solely focused on identifying intervention targets. An Early-Career Partnership Option allows two PIs, including at least one early-career investigator, with separate awards issued if funded.
