This program funds projects that build a pipeline of skilled, English-capable Ivoirian youth aged 17-40 through workforce development and skills-building activities. Focus areas include employability, English proficiency, and technology skills such as artificial intelligence, coding, and entrepreneurship. The program fosters engagement with U.S. institutions and private sector partners to expand economic opportunities and strengthen commercial ties, aligned with U.S. foreign policy and the Freedom 250 celebration.
Eligible applicants are nonprofits without 501(c)(3) IRS status, excluding institutions of higher education. The program targets organizations capable of implementing workforce development in Côte d’Ivoire.
