This funding supports programs in the Republic of the Congo that advance key U.S. foreign policy priorities including celebrating the Freedom 250 milestone, promoting American innovation, technology, culture, and English language, and strengthening commercial ties. It also aims to counter illegal immigration and trafficking in persons, and expand U.S. Government alumni networks, engaging youth, entrepreneurs, educators, and civil society leaders.
Eligible applicants include Congolese and U.S.-based non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and other qualified entities with experience in public diplomacy, education, entrepreneurship, or anti-trafficking initiatives.
