This award funds clinical research or trials that develop clinically useful findings on interventions, practices, guidelines, and policies for burn patients in austere, resource-limited military environments. It excludes preclinical or animal research and encourages studies involving human subjects or data. A mentorship option supports collaboration between experienced and junior researchers to advance combat burn care.
