The Community Connect Grant Program supports broadband deployment projects providing at least 100 Mbps down and 20 Mbps up service to rural, economically challenged areas lacking adequate broadband. It prioritizes communities demonstrating the greatest need to stimulate economic growth and enhance education and healthcare. Applicants must follow the FY 2026 Application Guide and submit applications online by June 29, 2026.
Eligible applicants include Native American tribal organizations and governments, state, county, city, township, and special district governments, small businesses, and nonprofits excluding institutions of higher education. Both 501(c)(3) and non-501(c)(3) nonprofits may apply.
