Save America's Treasures grants provide preservation and conservation assistance to nationally significant historic properties and collections. The program supports competitive projects requiring a dollar-for-dollar non-Federal match, which can be cash or documented in-kind. Separate opportunities exist for preservation and collections projects, with funding totaling $25.5 million for FY2025.
Eligible applicants include private higher education institutions, nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status, state and local governments, Native American tribal organizations and governments, and public/state controlled higher education institutions.
