The Award for Inclusion Research Program supports academic research in computing and technology focused on historically marginalized groups worldwide. Funded topics include accessibility, AI's impact on education, collaboration, collective and society-centered AI, and gender bias. Awards are unrestricted gifts to universities, enabling professors to conduct impactful research during the academic year.
Open to professors at universities or degree-granting research institutions. Applicants may serve as PI or co-PI on only one proposal per round, with a maximum of two PIs per proposal. Research must relate to computing or technology and impact historically marginalized groups.
