The Pool Safely Grant Program provides funding to state and local governments and eligible Native American tribal organizations to prevent drowning and drain entrapments of children in pools and spas. Funded activities include drowning prevention education and enforcement of pool safety regulations under the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act.
Eligible applicants include city, township, county, state, and special district governments, as well as federally recognized Native American tribal governments and other Native American tribal organizations.
