The FY26 Epilepsy Research Program Idea Development Award funds innovative research that challenges existing paradigms to better understand post-traumatic epilepsy and its comorbidities. It supports investigators at all career stages proposing new research directions to improve quality of life for Service Members, Veterans, and their care partners. The award excludes projects extending well-established lines of research.
Open to investigators at all career levels and any type of entity, with the restriction that an investigator may only be named on one FY26 ERP IDA application as a PI.
