This award supports applied research aimed at refining concepts into feasible solutions for orthopaedic injuries sustained during combat or service-related activities. Funded projects evaluate new knowledge products, pharmacologic agents, behavioral and rehabilitation interventions, diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, and emerging technologies. Clinical research is excluded. Preliminary data is required, and research must benefit Service Members, Veterans, their families, and the public.
