The ACE Award supports up to three years of mentored scientific research and career development for early-stage postdoctoral scholars. It encourages innovative research ideas and thoughtful mentorship plans to foster the development of independent investigators in fields relevant to NIH missions. Applications must be submitted within a defined timeframe relative to postdoctoral training start.
Eligible applicants include public and private higher education institutions, tribal governments, nonprofits, small businesses, and various government entities. Foreign organizations and non-U.S. components are not eligible to apply.
