This program supports resource-limited institutions to enhance their biomedical research environment, sponsored programs administration, and pilot research projects. It aims to expand and strengthen faculty and trainee research capacity and improve organizational settings for NIH-funded research through targeted development and capacity-building activities.
Eligible applicants include public and private institutions of higher education, Native American tribal governments and organizations, nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status, HBCUs, tribal entities, and resource-limited institutions with limited NIH Research Project Grant Funding.
