The FAST program provides annual funding to eligible entities to execute state-based and regional programs that raise awareness of SBIR/STTR opportunities, educate small businesses on program requirements, and increase application submissions and awards. It supports outreach, technical and business assistance, and financial support to enhance the technological competitiveness of small businesses in specified U.S. states and territories.
Open to public or private entities, organizations, or individuals endorsed by their State governor or designee as the sole approved applicant. Eligible applicants must be located in specified U.S. states or territories and aim to support small businesses in SBIR/STTR participation.
