This program funds state governments to enhance border security along the southern United States border. Eligible activities include construction or deployment of border walls or barriers, ground preparation for border infrastructure, detection and interdiction of illicit substances and unlawful aliens, and relocation of unlawfully present aliens from population centers to other domestic locations. The fund aims to empower states to meet evolving security challenges effectively.
Only state governments are eligible to apply for funding under this program. No other organization types or individuals qualify.
