This program funds Tribal, state, and local governments and courts to improve criminal justice responses to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Funded activities include enhancing offender accountability, victim safety, homicide reduction, protection-order enforcement, and coordinated law enforcement and prosecutorial efforts treating these offenses as serious criminal violations.
Eligible applicants include nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status (excluding higher education institutions), county, city, township, state, special district governments, federally recognized Native American tribal governments, and other Native American tribal organizations.
