The Special Tribal Criminal Jurisdiction Grant Program funds Tribal governments to prepare for or exercise jurisdiction over non-Indians who commit covered crimes such as assault of Tribal justice personnel, domestic violence, sexual violence, sex trafficking, stalking, and violation of protection orders within Tribal jurisdictional boundaries. The grant supports activities that strengthen Tribal justice systems to address these crimes effectively.
Eligible applicants are Native American tribal governments that are federally recognized. Additional eligibility details are provided in the program's information.
