This funding supports Community Development Corporations and Community Housing Development Organizations to enhance their technical and administrative capabilities for community development and affordable housing activities. Eligible activities include training, financial assistance, and administrative management related to Section 4 programs. Priority is given to projects benefiting low-income persons, homeless, disabled, first responders, veterans, and Native communities, with alignment to federal housing initiatives and regional economic development.
Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status, excluding institutions of higher education. Community Development Corporations and Community Housing Development Organizations are targeted.
