Supports basic research projects at Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Tribal Colleges and Universities that align with Department of the Workforce critical technology areas such as Applied AI, Biomanufacturing, and Quantum Information. Projects should enhance STEM education and develop institutional research capabilities to support national security needs. Applicants are encouraged to engage with Agency program managers and propose innovative approaches tailored to their institution's strengths.
Eligibility is restricted to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs) as defined by the Higher Education Act of 1965. Only these institutions may apply for funding under this opportunity.
