This program funds state, local, tribal, and territorial law enforcement agencies to implement or enhance mental health and wellness services such as peer support, counseling, suicide prevention, stress reduction, and family resources. It includes start-up funding for agencies without existing programs, enhancement funding for agencies with programs, and a community of practice initiative for peer learning and technical assistance.
Eligible applicants include state, local, tribal, and territorial law enforcement agencies with primary law enforcement jurisdiction for Categories 1 and 2.
