Tribal Wildlife Grants provide technical and financial assistance to federally recognized Tribes for developing and implementing programs that benefit fish, wildlife, and their habitats. Funded activities include conservation planning, management actions, laboratory and field research, habitat mapping, population monitoring, habitat protection, enhancement, and conservation education. Funding supports salaries, equipment, consultants, subawards, materials, and travel costs for tribal conservation priorities.
Eligible applicants are federally recognized Native American tribal governments. Funding supports tribal conservation priorities related to fish, wildlife, and habitats.
