This grant funds projects that assess and monitor soil and vegetation conditions to improve land health across state boundaries. Activities include rangeland restoration, soils mapping, ecological site description development, and engaging communities through mentoring and education to create resilient landscapes benefiting current and future generations.
Eligible applicants include county, city, township, special district, state governments, Native American tribal governments and organizations, nonprofits (both 501(c)(3) and others), and public and private institutions of higher education.
