This cooperative agreement funds organizations to develop and deliver culturally appropriate nutrition education projects for FDPIR participants and staff. Projects must align with the 2025-2030 Dietary Guidelines for Americans and promote USDA Foods, supporting healthy choices and outcomes in Tribal communities. Funding covers a two-year period from September 2026 to September 2028 with a maximum award of $500,000.
Eligible applicants include Indian Tribal Organizations, State agencies administering FDPIR, nonprofit or private organizations, accredited academic institutions including Tribal colleges, eligible Tribal entities, and national Tribal organizations.
