This opportunity funds up to 15 awards for projects that improve natural resources on farms, ranches, and private forest lands through partnerships. Funded projects may use innovative approaches, pay-for-performance methods, or large-scale infrastructure investments. Applicants must coordinate with state conservationists and submit proposals via the RCPP portal by August 24, 2026. Up to $310 million is available, including a $30 million set-aside for Indian tribes.
Eligible applicants include state and local governments, Native American tribal governments and organizations, nonprofits, small businesses, producer associations, water districts, institutions of higher education, conservation districts, and other entities with a history of cooperative conservation
