This initiative funds practical, data-driven projects that assist States, Tribal communities, healthcare systems, and community organizations in collecting and analyzing data on access to medical forensic examinations for women and girl survivors of sexual assault. Funded projects should identify barriers, service gaps, workforce shortages, geographic gaps, wait times, and system-level challenges impacting timely forensic healthcare access.
Eligible applicants include public and private higher education institutions, various government entities, small businesses, nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status, Native American tribal organizations and governments, and public housing authorities.
