This program provides funding to eligible US-based government entities, educational institutions, nonprofits, and federally recognized tribal governments for indemnity coverage related to arts and artifacts exhibitions and activities. The grant supports domestic indemnity to facilitate the safe display and transportation of cultural assets.
Eligible applicants include city, county, state, and special district governments; public and private institutions of higher education; nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status (excluding higher education institutions); independent school districts; and federally recognized Native American tribal government
