The FIELDS program supports projects that expand or bring new domestic fertilizer production capacity online to provide agricultural producers with more options and strengthen the U.S. fertilizer supply chain. Funding covers expansions, new facility construction, shovel-ready projects, and infrastructure improvements such as on-site terminals and transportation enhancements to improve supply chain efficiency.
Eligible applicants include Tribes, Tribal Entities, Alaska Native Corporations, For-Profit Entities, Corporations, Non-Profit Entities, Producer Owned Cooperatives & Corporations, Certified Benefit Corporations, and State or Local Government Entities.
