This program funds U.S. and Indonesian higher education institutions to collaborate on AI education and innovation. It includes a multi-day workshop connecting universities, tech companies, and alumni, followed by a five-month mentorship challenge where students develop AI solutions for Jakarta's infrastructure problems. The initiative aims to build AI-ready workforces, strengthen bilateral partnerships, and promote U.S. graduate opportunities in AI.
Eligible applicants are U.S. and Indonesian higher education institutions. For-profit entities are not eligible. The program targets Indonesian students, faculty, administrators, and policymakers involved in AI.
