This grant supports the continued operation, security, and maintenance of on-site memorials commemorating the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center and Pentagon sites. Funded memorials must provide free admission to military, first responders, victims' families, and offer weekly free public hours. Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) nonprofits owning or operating these covered memorials.
Eligible applicants are U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that own or operate a covered 9/11 memorial at the attack sites. The memorials must meet specific admission requirements for military, first responders, victims' families, and the public.
