This program funds training for 150 Egyptian English language instructors through a one-week intensive TESOL course covering critical thinking, classroom management, AI-enhanced teaching, and cultural understanding. Each participant completes 100 hours of community mentorship, creating sustainable professional learning communities. The program aims to improve pedagogical skills, integrate modern methodologies, and strengthen U.S.-Egypt educational partnerships with measurable outcomes.
Eligible applicants include public and state-controlled higher education institutions, nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status, excluding institutions of higher education. Applicants must have experience in teacher training and capacity building.
