This grant funds a professional exchange program bringing educators from the Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Brunei to the U.S. for immersive exposure to AI and educational technology integration in English language instruction. Activities include academic sessions, site visits to AI and EdTech companies, networking with U.S. educators and industry leaders, and attendance at SXSW EDU 2027. Participants develop actionable plans to implement American AI and EdTech approaches in their home institutions, supported by sustained follow-up.
Eligible applicants are nonprofits with 501(c)(3) IRS status, excluding institutions of higher education. Applicants must be U.S.-based organizations.
