This cooperative agreement supports projects that create mobile payment solutions for SNAP-authorized direct marketing farmers and farmers markets. Funded activities include developing secure EBT transaction processing applications or eCommerce platforms, facilitating SNAP authorization, and connecting farmers with SNAP households. Up to $4 million is available over three years for non-profits and academic institutions.
Only non-profit organizations and institutes of higher education are eligible to apply for this cooperative agreement. Other organization types are not eligible.
