The Wellcome Accelerator Awards support early- and mid-career researchers of Black, Bangladeshi, and Pakistani heritage in the UK to make successful career transitions. Funding covers salary if required and up to £200,000 for project expenses over a maximum of 2 years. Applications are accepted annually until 2028, with no coapplicants allowed.
Eligible applicants are early- and mid-career researchers of Black, Bangladeshi, and Pakistani heritage based in the UK. Coapplicants are not accepted.
