This funding opportunity supports multi-state and national earthquake risk mitigation activities such as regional coordination, seismic community professional development, business sector outreach, and annual earthquake preparedness drills (ShakeOut). Funded activities must align with the National Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program's vision, mission, and strategic goals, promoting earthquake preparedness and risk reduction across participating states and territories.
Eligible applicants include public and private institutions of higher education, nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status, and organizations with skills in regional or national earthquake risk mitigation.
