This cooperative agreement funds a research study to explore the short- and long-term effects of international parental child abduction on abducted children and their left-behind parents. The study will cover psychological, developmental, economic, social, legal, and governmental impacts, identify support gaps, and recommend solutions to improve assistance for affected families in the United States.
Eligible applicants include nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status (excluding higher education institutions), public/state controlled research institutions (excluding higher education), and private research institutions (excluding higher education).
