This grant funds SNAP State agencies to enhance earned income verification by contracting with commercial vendors providing third-party income databases. The goal is to identify cost-effective electronic verification solutions. Up to $38 million is available for FY 2026, distributed noncompetitively to 53 State agencies. Eligible applicants are State governments administering SNAP programs. Only the 53 State agencies that administer SNAP are eligible for this formula-based, noncompetitive grant.
