Provides $8 million annually to support Indigenous Peoples in designing, implementing, or expanding community-based climate monitoring projects. Funds activities including monitoring climate impacts within Indigenous territories, capacity building, youth employment, knowledge transfer, data management, and partnership building using Indigenous Knowledge Systems and western science.
Eligible applicants include Indigenous communities, Nations, governments, and representative organizations.
