This funding supports organizations to develop and implement miner health and safety training programs in the Western United States. Activities include identifying training needs, delivering training via qualified instructors, creating train-the-trainer programs, evaluating training impact, and collaborating with federal and state agencies to enhance training relevance and availability while avoiding duplication.
