This grant supports two projects in South Kazakhstan: a 12-month alumni outreach program strengthening English skills and U.S. cultural knowledge for up to 300 alumni, and a 20-month intensive English curriculum for 32 new students. Both initiatives promote youth leadership and U.S. engagement in a strategic Central Asian region through education and community networking.
Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations in Kazakhstan, including think tanks, civil society groups, and U.S. Government-sponsored alumni associations. Organizations must have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and valid SAM.gov registration. Individuals are not eligible.
