This grant funds projects aimed at enhancing security and law enforcement capabilities at faith-based institutions and houses of worship. Funded activities include strengthening partnerships with local law enforcement, implementing evidence-based security measures, and building institutional capacity to report incidents and assist in criminal investigations to prevent and respond to bias-motivated crimes.
Eligible applicants include state, county, city, township, special district, and Native American tribal governments, as well as faith-based organizations and other local government units such as towns, boroughs, parishes, and villages.
