This R01 grant supports discrete research projects focused on understanding risks and conditions of occupational diseases and injuries, evaluating methods to reduce workplace hazards, and translating scientific findings into practical prevention strategies and interventions that reduce work-related illnesses and injuries. Projects must align with NIOSH's mission and clearly describe expected impacts.
Eligible applicants include various government entities, public and private higher education institutions, nonprofits, and for-profit organizations excluding foreign entities. Foreign components and non-U.S. institutions are not eligible.
