This limited competition funds institutional research training programs that prepare predoctoral and postdoctoral researchers in clinical and translational science. The goal is to accelerate the translation of scientific discoveries into treatments and health interventions by supporting a national network of academic medical centers with the necessary infrastructure and expertise. Applicants must be prior recipients of CTSA UM1 awards and applications will be peer-reviewed for merit.
Eligibility is limited to organizations that have previously received a Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) UM1 award under NOFO PAR-24-272 or its subsequent iterations. Only these recipients may apply for this limited competition.
