This funding supports comprehensive invasive and noxious plant management programs on public lands, including prevention, detection, inventory, control, monitoring, emergency stabilization, education, and biological control development. Projects aim to protect native plant communities, wildlife habitat, watershed function, and recreational opportunities from invasive species threats.
Eligible applicants include state, county, city, and special district governments; public and state-controlled higher education institutions; federally recognized and other Native American tribal governments and organizations; and nonprofits. Individuals and for-profit organizations are not eligible
