This grant supports community coalitions that have completed an initial funding cycle or experienced a funding lapse to continue efforts in preventing and reducing substance use among youth. It funds collaborations among nonprofits, tribal governments, educational institutions, and government entities to address community risk and protective factors for substance use, aiming to build safe, healthy, drug-free communities.
Eligible applicants include community-based coalitions previously funded by the DFC program, nonprofit organizations, tribal governments, educational institutions, and government entities within the U.S. and territories. Applicants must be nonprofit or associated with a recognized nonprofit entity.
