This grant supports exploratory and developmental research projects that advance understanding of occupational diseases and injuries. It funds innovative scientific concepts, new model systems, and tools or technologies with potential impact on occupational safety and health. Applicants must clearly describe the occupational health burden addressed, demonstrate how their research alleviates this burden, and outline expected outcomes and impacts.
